Grace and Wages is a Christian music collective that was formed in the Fall of 2021 by a group of diverse people who shared a dream of using their God-given talents to point the lost and hurting to a savior whose grace has no bounds. Whether it’s creating an atmosphere of worship at a church or performing original music in a concert setting, Grace and Wages delivers a high energy, professional, and entertaining experience for all ages.
Grace and Wages believes that God created people to be creative. This truth is evident in their multi-genre spanning collection of original music. Their approach harkens back to a day when a band’s priority was to write meaningful songs and weren’t worried about recreating the latest trends. They expertly weave from southern rock all the way to modern jazz grooves. These unique grooves are bound by the common thread that Grace was freely given to us all by the saving sacrifice of Jesus Christ even though the Wages of our sin is death.
Grace and Wages is injecting new life into the Christian music market with their no-boundaries approach to songwriting. The band’s lead vocals are a shared duty. Justin Mathenia, Krissa Hall, and Macy Smith seamlessly float back and forth from leads to beautiful harmonies. The band is filled out by top notch multi-instrumentalists Coleby West and Seth Foster with Tyson Fristoe on the drums.
The members’ collective passion is to share the love and redemptive character of Jesus with everyone that they are blessed to meet.
